Reuse of existing research data

Research data that is stored on the DaSCH platform is usually accessible to everybody[1] and can be accessed either through a generic browser interface or using a RESTful interface. Please note that the data is usually provided according to the CC-BY 4.0 license, but other restrications may apply in some cases.

The use can be as simple as a citation of a data object using a permanent link, or it can be the integration of existing data into new research applications.

Data transfer

Digital data created during research that might be valuable for other ongoing or future research projects can be transfered to the DaSCH infrastructre. The DaSCH will preserve the data and provide long-term access.


The DaSCH provides consulting for dealing with research data in the Humanities to individual researchers, research groups and members of research projects that are located in Switzerland, are related to Switzerland or are funded by Swiss sources.
