DaSCHCon 2025 – Cultural Institutions in the Digital Age: The Future of Infrastructures

When: October 15th, 2025 (10:00–16:30)
Where: Bern (Museum of Communication, Helvetiastrasse 16, 3000 Bern) and online
We are happy to invite you to the DaSCHCon 2025 at the Museum of Communication in Bern, which is dedicated to cultural institutions and infrastructures.
Morning Session (10:00–12:00):
Presentation of three selected projects and initiatives.
Afternoon Session (13:00–14:40):
We invite you to present (approx. 15 minutes) your project or ongoing work relating to infrastructures, data interoperability, data quality aspects and / or the topic of opening up your data. Please submit your details using the template for submissions below, which should be sent to daschcon@dasch.swiss by July 31st, 2025, with the following information:
• Contact details
• Name of your institution
• 500-word abstract
• Optional figures and illustrations (with copyright statement!) as separate files
We intend to compile a small book of abstracts which will be available online.
Workshop / Market place (15:00–16:30):
At the beginning of the workshop we are looking for short presentations about what is going on in your institution with respect to your infrastructure and what is intended in the near future (maximum 2 slides and 5 minutes per institution). Please send a pdf of your slides to daschcon@dasch.swiss by October 1st, 2025.
Afterwards an open discussion and exchange of knowledge between the participants is planned. If you already have a pressing question or topics for the discussion, please fill in the question template below and send it to daschcon@dasch.swiss by October 1st, 2025.
The programme and further details will be communicated during August 2025.
